No worse than any other $1.1M car ...

well they are only making 50 so your opinion is invalid. There are AT LEAST 50 rich car loving idiots out there.

Step 1 - Buy used GTR (~2010) for $50k
Step 2 - add Stage 3 Tune Yo
Step 3 - blue wrap
Step 4 - ???
Step 5 - profit

Most cars over $1 mill will appreciate in value or at least hold their value, i dont see a Nissan doing that...GTR badge or not

Without articulating why you think it’s stupid...you aren’t giving us anything to use to provide a rebuttal.
If you are honest with yourself and think overly rationally...you come to realise that most cars are stupid. Not just ones costing a million euros.

Blue wrap everything except the front grill, call it art*

He didn’t say it wasn’t worth $1.1 to somebody, nor that it’s a bad financial decision for Nissan. He
said it was stupid... which is kind of something else. I don’t know that he’s wrong.

oh he’s right. Im just saying it doesn’t matter because they’re probably already sold.
![]() 12/12/2018 at 16:38 |

I don't understand it either....

I’m a GT-R fan...but...$1M for this...
thing
...is absurd. I’m sure they’ve sold all 50 though, so there are
at least 50 people who disagree with us.

You could have left out the $1.1M part and still been correct.

There’s a whole lot of ‘em sub-$100k with sub-1000 miles.k “IT’LL ONLY APPRECIATE,” the buyer said! “IT’S AN AFFORDABLE SUPERCAR!”

There was/is a ‘16 at a Kia dealer in PA on OVE; sub 3k miles i think
![]() 12/12/2018 at 19:18 |

Considering this site is full of people who complain when used Miatas cost too much, the price of a new car let alone a
“super”car really is a moot point.

Marshall Goldman had a ‘12 with 61 2 miles and records showing it was actually hauled to the dealer in an enclosed trailer for maintenance. Sticker was $128k. They were asking $80k but they were willing to deal.
